Siwen earned her Bachelor of Music in Applied Piano from USA, her piano technique and Chopin studies in Poland and done her post graduate music studies and diploma in Creative Writing, Dist. in New Zealand.
She specialized in teaching and training Piano Technique, Dexterities & Aesthetic to advance diploma piano students, involved in Consultation, Instructional Design & Planning and worked years as adjudicator, pianist, accompanist, composer, arranger & speaker.
Siwen formed pro tem Miri Orchestra and Choir Society (MOCS) with a group of loyal orchestra enthusiasts and before MOCS approval she acted as its president, one of its sponsors, directors and conductors (Since 1997 to 2002)
Siwen was the creator and writer of Kinder Virtuoso Program (Since 1996), a well round music appreciation program specially designed for very young chilkdren. Siwen finally retires after teaching piano and working actively in music developments for more than 25 years in M'sia, Brunei, USA, Poland and N.Z.
She was the proprietor of Siwen Piano Studio (April 1993 to Sept 2009) and Miri Kawai Musc Co, a sole authorized Kawai dealer in Miri (1995 to Sept 2009)
